A MILESTONE IN THE DESIGN OF SIGNS
Every completed signage solution undertaken by Signs360 is a milestone in its own right. This is because signs are designed to meet the unique needs of every client, made from a wide range of styles and materials, and protected with special coatings for durability. Signs360’s research and development department is at all times working on innovative products to ensure that we remain market leaders when it comes to designing signs, or manufacturing, promoting and installing these amazing pieces of art.
Types of signs
Signs can be made for: outdoor or indoor use, retail and shopping centres, reception areas or corporate office blocks, vehicle or flags, advertising products and pylons.
Sign-making technologies include: illuminated and non-illuminated signage, digital and non-digital signage, traditional light boxes, neon signs and electronic signs.
Whether the sign required is an illuminated counter-top stand made of Perspex with a full colour message promoting and branding a product, or a gigantic digital electronic sign on a main corner in a first world city, Signs360 can custom-make to order.
Materials used in sign-making
Signage materials include: stainless steel, aluminium,
glass, vinyl, acrylic and wood.
Aluminium and stainless steel in particular are durable, low-maintenance
products and therefore suitable for short or long-term outdoor use. Stainless
steel signs with a high-shine chrome look, laser-cut and mounted in designated
areas by architects, decorators and sign designers, have
become our speciality. Although more expensive than other materials, stainless
steel signs are becoming ever more popular.
Coatings applied to signs
Signs360’s premium sign products require very little maintenance after installation. This is because the latest technology in the form of polyurethane coating and UV coating is used in the manufacturing process.
Premium aluminium light boxes are coated with polyurethane which provides a matte finish and protects the PDF colour range for long periods of time. Our recently extended range of polyurethane coatings in all PMF (processed mineral fibre) colours - whether steel, Perspex, wood or aluminium - are all catered for.
The final UV coating in our sign systems protects our product against scratching and makes for very low maintenance. A significant reason for the growth of UV technology is its unique processing characteristics, which allow UV coatings to be applied on virtually any sign materials including plastic, metal, wood, vinyl and glass.
