Description

A flex face sign consists of a decorated vinyl material stretched flat by means of various systems over a tubular steel frame.

Flex face signage installed with the pocket and bar system has the benefit that it may be easily changed and updated. Once the frame structure is in place, new flex faces can be prepared to replace existing ones.

This chapter shows a non-illuminated version of a flex face installation as a variation. Internal illumination of pocket and bar flex face systems follows the same principles as illustrated in the following chapters.

Construction

Tubular steel frame structure drilled to take tensioning hooks.

Decoration

The flex face may be decorated in several ways:
1. Full colour digital printing
2. Cut vinyl
3. Spray and hand painted techniques
3. Attachment of flat or fabricated illuminated perspex letters and forms

Applications

1. Large advertising hoardings
2. Indoor or outdoor applications

Sizes

Up to 6000 x 9000 mm and over.

Finishes

Frames and claddings are spraypainted or powder coated except where pre-coated products are available.
