Description

Brass is a soft metallic alloy that is easily worked by routing, lazer cutting, filing and sanding, it can also be polished or linished.

Sizes

Letters and logos may be cut from ± 50 mm to ± 1000 mm in height. Thicknesses of 1, 2, 3, and 6 mm are suitable.

Installation

1. Glueing flat
2. Mounting off backgrounds on pins
3. Mounting off backgrounds on blocks

Finishes

Since brass is susceptible to discolouration by oxidation (although sometimes a desired effect), it is generally protected by a coat of clear increlac varnish.

It may be spraypainted.

It polishes to a high gloss and is ideal for chrome plating.

It can be linished or highly polished to a reflective state.
